His excellency, Alhagie Bemba Jabbi, the current sitting president of Dampha Kunda Diaspora Organisation, was born in 1948 in Dampha Kunda Village, Tumana District, Upper River Region, The Gambia West Africa.
He travelled to France in August 1974 in search of greener pasture. Upon his arrival in France, his excellency subsequently moved to Strasbourg city located in the northeastern part of France Alasce region, where he continued to reside up until now. His excellence Mr. President is a regular visitor to the Gambia and Dampha Kunda Village. He is a very humble, kind-hearted, loving, caring, and chrastimatic leader who spends most of his vocations in the Dampha Kunda Village community. His main goal is to serve the Dampha Kunda Village community by bringing in much needed social, health, and economic development
His excellency Alhagie Bemba Jabbi was appointed as the president of Dampha Kunda Diaspora Organisation on 06th August 2018 by Dampha Kunda Diaspora Organisation's community members. Since taking over the office, several development projects were executed during his term in office. These include:
1. Hospital construction project - Status on goings
2. Roads Repair Project - Status Completed
3. Water Project - Status on going maintenance.
4. Installation of Air conditioner Mosque - Status Completed but on going maintenance.
His excellency Mr. President and his delegates play important roles in the organisation. These include:
Making key strategic decisions affecting the overall growth and well-being of the organisation.
Appointment of ministerial posts
Allocation of resources that align with the organisation's budget in order of priority to deliver much needed community services.
Report to the organisation's members periodically on issues affecting the organisation.
Involving all members in the decision-making progress.
